St. Peter's Church, Stockport The Deanery is comprised of eight parishes within the Stockport area. Together, the churches seek to serve God and to share his transforming love with the Stockport community. The Church of England is thriving in Stockport, and as well as offering worship services to the local community the churches in the deanery are heavily involved in local education, community outreach projects and social enterprises- often in partnership with other agencies, faith groups and the local council.
