  • St. Thomas' Church, Stockport

St. Thomas' church is a grade I listed "Comissioners" church consecrated in 1825 and orginally built to celebrate the English victory at the Battle of Waterloo. Since that time, it has offered traditional yet inclusive worship to the people of the parish.

St. Thomas' lies within the Catholic wing of the Church of England: we value the historic teaching of the church and its worship.

The church has a small yet friendly and passionate congregation. Our worship is rooted in the Catholic tradition; we have a robed choir and many parts of the service are sung. You are very welcome to join us as we offer praise and prayer to our Lord on Sundays and throughout the week.
