St Matthew's Church on Grenville Street was consecrated in May 1858. Services Sunday 9.30am Holy Communion (traditional) 11.15am Parish Worship On the first Sunday of every month, a single service takes place at 10.30am- this is a Holy Communion with children's activities. There is also a monthly "signed" service for those in the deaf community who would like to join us in worship. Wednesday 10.00am Said Communion During the week, there is a group for babies and toddlers (and their parents and carers), a group for isolated and vulnerable people, as well as a regular Saturday morning caf. There is also an extensive programme of community activities for children and young people and their families, particularly during school holidays.
